Israeli Firm to Build Air Terminals in Ethiopia; Signs Contract

Solel Boneh, the Histadrut construction firm, has signed a $2,800,000 contract with Ethiopia Airlines for the construction of four air terminals in Addis Ababa, Asmara and two smaller Ethiopian towns, it was announced here today. The contract, which was negotiated through the Reynolds Company of New York, Solel Boneh’s American partner, was won in competition with an American firm. The Solel Boneh Planning and Consulting Co. has been awarded a contract for planning a 10,000,000-pound sterling ($28,000,000) university at Ife, near Western Nigeria’s capital of Ibadan.
