Jewish Author Wins Highest 1961 Literary Award in Belgium

The 1961 Victor Rossel Prize, highest literary award in Belgium, was voted today to a Jewish writer, David Schoinert, for his novel “The Flemish With Long Ears.” The prize carries an award valued at $2,000.
