Contributions of $250,000 at the Jewish National Fund Chanukah banquet launched today a record $1,500,000 campaign.

Milan Roven, local JNF president, announced a $10,000 gift with the money earmarked for a village in Israel. Regional president Benjamin Swig said he planned to visit Israel next spring to arrange to set up a “city of angels” village, a major project of the Los Angeles JNF.
