President Kennedy cabled congratulations to the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra on its 25th anniversary.
The Philharmonic started its 25th season today under the baton of Josef Krips who will conduct Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony; Mr. Krips will conduct the orchestra for five other concerts before returning to the United States.
