Mayor Robert F. Wagner today proclaimed January 14 as National Council of Jewish Women Founder’s Day. This year marks the first celebration of NCJW Founder’s Day in honor of the birthday of Hannah Greenebaum Solomou, who founded the organization in 1893 at the Chicago World’s Fair.
