Soviet Yearbook Shows 33,500 Jews Among 354, 100 Scientists in U.S.S.R.

There were 33,500 Jewish scientists in the Soviet Union in 1960 among the total number of 354,100 scientists in the country, according to data published in the official Soviet Yearbook “Political Economy of the U.S.S.R.” received here today; In 1959 the number of Jewish scientists was 30,600, the yearbook reported.
