Central American Conference of W.j.c. Set to Start on March 10

The first Central American conference of World Jewish Congress affiliates will be held for three days, beginning March 10, it was announced today by the WJC Central Committee. Delegates are scheduled to attend from Central American and Caribbean Jewish communities, including Aruba, Barbados, Costa Rica, Cuba, Curacao, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Surinam, Trinidad and Venezuela.

Featured speakers at the conference will be Dr. Nahum Goldmann, president of the World Jewish Congress; Samuel Bronfman, vice-president of the WJC and chairman of the North American executive; and Yehuda Ebstein, executive director of the North American executive. Simultaneously with the conference, there will also be held here meetings of representatives of all Jewish communities in Mexico.
