Weizmann Institute Gets $1, 000, 000 Gift for an ‘international House’

A million-dollar gift for an “International House” for graduate students has been made to the Weizmann Institute of Science, in Israel, by Charles Clore, well known British financier and philanthropist, it was announced here today by Dewey D. Stone, chairman of the Board of Governors of the Weizmann Institute.

On accepting the gift, Meyer W. Weisgal, chief executive officer of the Institute, said that the Clore residence half will be part of the Institute’s Graduate School in the Natural Sciences and will comprise single and multiple dwelling units, common rooms, recreation facilities, service installations and other amenities.
