A plaque was unveiled in a seminar room at the Hebrew University’s Institute of Jewish Studies, recording the presentation of this room by the St. Louis Jewish Community in honor of Rabbi Samuel Thurman.
Rabbi Thurman, who was deeply moved, unveiled the plaque noting the presentation and was later the guest of honor at a luncheon tendered by the University.
