A commemorative volume marking the 70th birthday of Rabbi Leo Jung, spiritual leader of the Jewish Center here and a prominent Orthodox Jewish scholar, author and philosopher, was published today by the Center. The work, which also marks Dr. Jung’s 40th year in the rabbinate, includes writings by leading Jewish rabbis, scholars and educators as well as a brief biography of Dr. Jung and a bibliography of his writings.

Among the contributors are Dr. Louis Rabinowitz, former Chief Rabbi of Transvaal and the Orange Free State, South Africa; the late Dr. Isidore Epstein, former principal of Jews’ College, London; Professor Abraham I. Katsh of New York University; Professor Abraham J. Heschel of the Jewish Theological Seminary of America; Dr. Cecil Roth, prominent British-Jewish historian; and American novelist Herman Wouk.
