Germany Agrees to Pay $2,500,000 to Swiss Victims of Nazism

The agreement between West Germany and Switzerland, under which the Federal Republic of Germany is to pay Switzerland 10,000,000 Deutschmarks ($2,500,000) as compensation to Swiss citizens persecuted by the Nazi regime, went into effect this weekend, according to a government announcement here today.
