President Jose Mario Guido and the two members of the Cabinet chiefly concerned with the recent anti-Semitic manifestations in this country, today assured Label A. Katz, of New Orleans, international president of B’nai B’rith, of their “abhorrence” over anti-Semitism. They told the leader that they will take “stern” actions against such manifestations.

Mr. Katz met separately, first, with Minister of the Interior Rodolfo Martinez, then with Minister of the Economy Alvaro Alsogaray, and finally with both Ministers together with President Guido. He expressed to all of the Government leaders his “concern” over the recent anti-Semitic and anti-democratic activities of the Tacuare movement. Following the conferences, Mr. Katz told newsmen he was confident the highest Government authorities would implement their “good declarations” regarding intentions to suppress and prevent further outbreaks of anti-Semitism.
