These assurances were given Mr. Katz by Dr. Carlos M, Muniz, Foreign Minister of Argentina. Mr. Katz, who discussed the recent wave of anti-Semitism in conferences here with other topmost Government personalities, had been given similar assurances by President Jose Mario Guido, Minister of the Interior Rodolfo Martinez, and Minister of the Economy Alvaro Alsogaray.
Mr. Katz left for home after being feted by leaders of the Jewish community here. Meanwhile, Saul E, Joftes; director of the B’nai B’rith International Council, who had accompanied Mr. Katz here, left for visits to other Latin American centers to survey the situation of the Jews there.
