Israel’s Chief Rabbinate today expressed disapproval over an arrangement made between Inbal, the Yemenite dance group here, and a Hollywood movie firm which has scheduled employment of the dancers in the filming of a picture dealing with the life of Jesus.
The Inbal aggregation has been booked by United Artists for a three-month stay in Hollywood, with a provision for three more months, to participate in the making of “The Greatest Story Ever Told. ” Thirty members of Inbal have been scheduled to leave for Hollywood this week.
