Edwin J. Pivnick, a Toronto attorney and prominent Jewish communal leader, was today elected mayor of Forest Hill Village, a suburb of this city and Canada’s largest village. Mr. Pivnick, 38, has served on the legal and other committees of the Canadian Jewish Congress.
