A group of Protestant ministers from Allentown raised the question of anti-Semitism in the Soviet Union during an interview today at the Soviet Embassy here.
The subject of Soviet mistreatment of Jews was broached by the clergymen during a non-related discussion of disarmament with Embassy officials. The Embassy officials did not reply directly to the question, turning it aside with a reference to official USSR policy, claiming that Soviet citizens are “recognized only as members of national groups.”
