800 Jews Leave South American Countries to Settle in Israel

Some 800 Jewish immigrants left here today aboard the Greek liner Flaminia to settle in Israel. Sixty-four of the group were from Brazil, while the remaining members were from Argentina and Uruguay. An additional 44 Brazilians are scheduled to leave for Israel later this month.
