The appointment of a 26-year-old Jew to a high government post came under sharp fire today from the opposition press.

Aime Botbol was named director to the Ministry of Public Works by the Minister, A. Guessous. The Tangiers-born Jewish official has held various high posts in Morocco. The opposition press accused the Minister of “pro-Jewish sentiments.”
