Fulbright, who was the featured guest speaker, abstained from making any reference to Zionism, Israel or the Middle East, The Arkansas Democrat and chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee spoker primarily against the race between the United States and the Soviet Union to land on the moon.

Dr. William F. Rosenblum, of Temple Israel, proposed to ignore the Council by giving it the “silent treatment, ” Dr. Judah Nadich, at the Park Avenue Synagogue, said that the Council is false both to its religion and to America.
