Lewis H. Weinstein of Boston, chairman of the National Community Relations Advisory Council, was appointed by President Kennedy this weekend to membership on an eight-member President’s Committee on Equal Opportunity in Housing. A recognized authority on housing, Mr. Weinstein has been chairman of the Massachusetts State Board of Housing and the Massachusetts Emergency Housing Commission.
