A delegation representing the Association of Americans and Canadians in Israel was received by Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion to discuss problems related to immigration of Americans and Canadians to Israel.
Consideration was given to ways of encouraging future immigration from North America at the meeting, at which Pinhas Sapir, Minister of Commerce and Industry was also present. The Association of Americans and Canadians in Israel serves the North American settlers here by granting them financial assistance and advice on jobs, housing and other matters.
