Colonel John Furman was elected president of PEC Israel Economic Corporation, it was announced today by Joseph Meyerhoff, PEC’s president since 1957, who now becomes chairman of the board of directors, He will also continue as chairman of PEC’s executive committee.
Before Joining PEC, Col. Furman played a prominent role in the building up of the Israel merchant marine, and was engaged in banking and finance activities. He is currently a board member of several of Israel’s leading enterprises.
