‘zim’ Line to Add Four New Ships; Are Being Built in France

Zim Israel Navigation Co. will add four new 7, 200-ton freighters to its fleet in the coming year. They will be used in Zim’s Great Lake service in the summer and in the European citrus trade in the winter,

Gottlieb Hammer, president of the American-Israeli Shipping Co., said Zim would charter the ships from the Ampal-American Israel Corporation, which is having them built in France. American-Israel is Zim’s United States representative.
