Judge Simon E. Sobeloff of Baltimore, Chief Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, has been elected a trustee emeritus of Brandeis University, it was announced here today.
Judge Sobeloff, who is a former president of the Baltimore Jewish Council, has been a Brandeis trustee since 1960. Former Senator Herbert H. Lehman of New York was named a trustee emeritus last month.
