Funeral services were held here for Dr. Philip R. Rezek, a leading pathologist and a veteran Zionist who died at his home here at the age of 68. He was director of the Division of Pathologic Anatomy of the Pathology Laboratories at Jackson Memorial Hospital here.
A native of Austria, Dr. Rezek belonged to the same B’nai B’rith Lodge in Vienna as Dr. Sigmund Freud. A long-time ardent Zionist, Dr. Rozek visited Israel many times and last year was guest lecturer in pathology at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem.
