Egypt Announces Plans for Building New $33,600,000 Nuclear Reactor

The Egyptian Government has announced plans for the construction of a new nuclear reactor costing some 12,000,000 pounds sterling ($33,600,000), it was reported here today from Cairo. The Daily Express, mean while, reported today that since 1945, aid to Egypt from the United States exceeded 300,000,000 pounds sterling ($840,000,000) while Soviet aid to Egypt since 1955 totaled three times that sum.
