Hebrew University-hadassah Medical School Gets $130,000 U.S. Grant

The Hebrew University Hadassah Medical School here has been awarded a grant of $130,000 from the United States National Institute of Health, a federal agency that sponsors medical research projects in universities in this country and abroad, it was reported today.

Prof. Saul Adler, head of the school’s department of parasitology and Dr. Ann Foner, a member of the department, were awarded $70,000 for a three-year study. The department has been recognized by the World Health Organization as an international research center. Prof. Adler is a member of the WHO research council’s senior committee.
