Special arrangements for persons who observe Saturday as the Sabbath to take their Civil Service examinations on other days, have been made through an agreement between the Massachusetts Council of Rabbis and the State Civil Service Commission.
Applicants must request these arrangements in writing. This must be accompanied by a letter from a rabbi stating that the applicant is a member if good standing of a faith that observes the seventh day.
