Phi Epsilon Pi, a national Jewish fraternity, has named Ralph McGill, publisher of the Atlanta Constitution, as the recipient of its 1963 International Service Award. Mr. McGill, who will receive the award at the organization’s annual convention later this month in Hartford, Conn., was cited for his outstanding accomplishments and contributions to the “essentials of brotherhood.” He has been one of the South’s foremost pleaders for reasonable solutions to the Negro problem.
