Columbia University has received a gift of $100,000 from Lawrence A. Wien, a New York Jewish communal leader and $250,000 from the Jacob H. Schiff Charitable Trust. The gifts were announced at a meeting held here to open a general alumni appeal for the University.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
