Moroccan Justice Ministry Names Jew As Counselor to Supreme Court

Salomon Bensabat, former counselor to the Court of Appeal at Tangier, was named today Counselor to the Supreme Court at Rabat by the Moroccan Justice Ministry.

A former rabbi, he had been named by the date Mohammed V to the National Consultative Assembly in 1956. He had been head of the Maimonides Institute at Tetuan.
