The Canadian Jewish Congress today urged the Government to introduce legal curbs that would prevent racial hatred with incitement to violence. The request was presented during a meeting here between a four-member CJC delegation and Justice Minister Lionel Chevrier and Postmaster General Azalus Denis. Citing the recent spate of anti-Jewish incitement in Toronto and central Ontario during the past few months, the delegation called for changes in the Criminal Code that would halt the dissemination of hate literature.
