A nationwide fund-raising campaign with a goal of 2, 500, 000 Deutschemarks ($625,000) for the planting of 180, 000 trees in Israel, to memorialize the 180,000 German Jews annihilated in concentration camps during the Hitler holocaust, was launched here today. The drive will be conducted under the auspices of the Jewish National Fund. The trees will be planted near the road from Jerusalem to the Jordanian border.
