Israel has turned down a request by the Protestant Council of Hew York to borrow the Dead Sea Scrolls for the Council’s pavilion at the New York World’s Fair which opens in April, it was reported here today. Israel, however, is assisting the Council in assembling exhibits for the pavilion’s Galilee corner.
