The 25th anniversary of the founding of the Jewish Central Committee of Mexico was celebrated here last night at a gala event in the Jewish Sports Center, where addresses were delivered and messages read from many Jewish leaders around the world.
Special citations were awarded at the meeting to the Central Committee’s honorary president, Dr. Sigmund Bibring; Gregorio Shapiro, president; and I.Z. Berebichez, general secretary.
