Brazilian Government Extends Aid to Jewish Choir Going to Israel

The Brazilian Ministry of Education has allocated a subsidy of 10, 000, 000 cruzeiros (about $7, 000) to partially finance the travel expense to Israel of the 80-member Jewish choir of the People’s Institute for Education and Culture, which will take part in the song festival to be held in Israel next July, it was announced here today by Dr. Shaul Levin, cultural attache of the Israeli Embassy.
