The final itinerary was announced here today for the forthcoming visit to Washington of Prime Minister Levi Eshkol.
Mr. Eshkol will remain in the United States for 12 days, the first three of which will be devoted to talks in Washington. During his stay in Washington, the Israeli Premier will be given a dinner by President Johnson at the White House and will be host to Mr. Johnson at a dinner in a Washington hotel.
From Washington, Mr. Eshkol will proceed to New York for a four-day visit during which he will be the guest of Mayor Wagner at a reception and of United Nations Secretary General U Thant at a luncheon at United Nations headquarters.
The Israeli Premier will then visit Fort Bliss where Israeli military personnel are being trained in the use of American Hawk missiles and will then proceed to Los Angeles for a two-day visit. On his return trip from the West Coast, Mr. Eshkol will visit Chicago.
Mr. Eshkol will be accompanied by a number of high Israeli officials on his trip to the United States. During his visit to various countries, he will meet with Jewish leaders there and outline to them the latest developments in Israel.
