The Bonn Government is contemplating inviting Egyptian President Nasser to visit West Germany, it was reported here today in the Sunday Observer. Commenting on the report, the paper said that such a visit would be “embarrassing” in a number of ways.
“In the first place,” the paper declared, “Israel would be thoroughly suspicious and the matter might well be added to the affair of the German rocket technicians in Cairo to make up charges of German plotting with Israel’s enemies.”
