Dr. Moses Leo Gitelson, Active in Jewish Cultural Affairs, Dies at 67

Funeral services were held here today for Dr. Moses Leo Gitelson, prominent Jewish businessman, economist and philanthropist, who died yesterday at his home here at the age of 67. He was a leading supporter of libraries and Jewish culture.

Born in Russia of American parents, Dr. Gitelson was brought to this country at the age of 3. He was a member of the board of governors of the Jewish Theological Seminary, and a trustee of the Jewish Publication Society of America.
