The Second Central America-Panama Jewish Communities convention opened here today with 100 delegates meeting to discuss problems of Jewish education and relations between Israel and Jews in other countries.
The principal goal of the four day conclave will be to establish a federation of Jewish communities of the Central American countries. Leon Dultzin, representing the Jewish Agency, Mark Turkow, representing the World Jewish Congress, and I. Aviom, representing the economic department of the Jewish Agency, are among the scheduled speakers.
