A newly established Reform congregation at Ramat Gan today asked for police protection during next Friday evening’s services, after neighbors interfered with services last weekend. The neighbors, who claim that the premises are intended for dwelling purposes only, and not for a synagogue, said that their objection has nothing to do with freedom of religion. Members of the congregation, who rented the premises, said they intend to hold services there despite threats by the neighbors.
