Cornerstone Laid for First Synagogue in Alaska; Will Have School

Cornerstone-laying ceremonies were held for Beth Sholom Congregation, the first synagogue in Alaska, which is expected to be ready for use next year.

Burton H.Goldberg, president of the congregation, said at the ceremonies for the new Reform temple, that the goal was to hold religious school classes and services in the new house of worship in 1965.
