Boston Jewish Philanthropies Allocates $5,100,000 for Various Causes

Allocations totaling more than $5,100,000 were approved by the board of trustees of the Combined Jewish Philanthropies here, Sidney Stoneman, CJP president, announced today. Of this sum, nearly $2,100,000 was designated for the United Jewish Appeal and other overseas agencies.

Approximately 55 percent of the funds available for allocation were earmarked for local hospitals, Jewish educational institutions, individual and family welfare agencies, and centers and camps, and for local and national community relations and educational and cultural agencies.
