The Swedish Radio today presented a program of Sholom Aleichem readings in Swedish. This was the first time that the great Yiddish writer’s works in Swedish were presented for entertainment as distinct from evaluation and commemoration.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
