“Fiddler on the Roof,” the musical based on Sholem Aleichem’s tales of East European Jewish life, has been named the best religious drama of 1964 by the National Catholic Theater Conference. Harold Prince, producer, will receive the group’s award with other awardees at the closing dinner of the conference on August 26 here.
