A gang of five young neo-Nazis, equipped with uniforms, swastikas, weapons and dynamite, has been broken up in the northern city of Lille, police reported here today.

The five Nazis, whose ages averaged 17 years, had started drawing up a list of all of Lille’s inhabitants, saying that “it can come in handy one of these days.” They had started amassing uniforms, regulation boots, and Nazi medals as well as a small stock of dynamite. Police said all five came from well-to-do middle class families and all had received a good education.
