Rep. Leonard Farbstein, New York Democrat, was today appointed chairman of the Subcommittee on Foreign Economic Policy of the House Committee on Foreign Affairs. He has been a member of the House Foreign Affairs Committee since 1957.
In a statement delivered on the House floor, Rep. Farbstein expressed his shock that “the West German Government permitted itself to be intimidated by a would be Hitler in reversing its policy” on supplying arms to Israel.
