Professor Abraham Joshua Heschel, one of the world’s leading Jewish scholars and professor of Jewish ethics and mysticism at the Jewish Theological Seminary of America, has been names Harry Emerson Fosdick Visiting Professor at the Union Theological Seminary, one of the leading Protestant seminaries in this country, for the academic year, 1965-66.
Dr. Heschel will continue with his lectures at the Jewish Theological Seminary during the year.
