Martin Panzer, of New York, author and assistant to Dr. Joseph Schwartz, the executive vice-president of the Israel Bond Organization, was named today as executive vice-president of the American Friends of Tel Aviv University. He will assume his post Thursday.
Prior to joining the Israel Bond Organization, he was assistant to the executive vice-chairman of the United Jewish Appeal. A contributor to many magazines and newspapers, and editor of the American Hebrew from 1938 to 1941, he has written seven books.
