The Jewish interests and activities of Jewish students at Chilean universities will be studied by the American Jewish Committee’s Latin-American bureau, according to Prof. Eduardo L. Rogowsky, director of the bureau’s department for social studies. He said the study will be made in cooperation with the Central Jewish University of Chile and the Center for Jewish University Students in Chile.

Plans for a course in the Hebrew language and culture, initiated by the Israel Legation and the local Committee for Jewish Education, were announced here today. Prof. Bernard Berdichewsky will direct the course. One of the guest lecturers will be Prof. Igal Yannay of the University of Jerusalem, who will also give lectures on the archaeology of the Biblical period.
